Kennel Lineage

Our Kennel

Our kennel name was registerded by Koninklijk maatschapij Sint Hubertus in 1994. We were also awarded the titel "Keurfokker-VVDH". The best breeders are awarded with this titel to acknowledge there endeavors in matters of breeding. We are especially proud of having received the "Golden Breeders medal" in 2001, in an exeptionally short time. This was only the 4:th time in the 70-years history of the VVDH ( Belgian German Shepherd club), that this was given.

The Line QUANA V. ADELPLATZ
Our first litter was born on the 02/07/93 with my father´s kennelname "van de Prinsenakkers" because we hadn´t received our own kennelname at that time yet. And it was emidiatly a top litter!! The mother was Quana v. Adelplatz IP.1, Kkl.1a, Vorzüglich, and the father was the Worldchampion Ulk v. Arlett SchH3, Kkl.1a, V-Auslese. Four top-Excelent (Vorzüglich ) dogs were bred out of this litter: Remo IP.3, Kkl.1a, Roxette IP.3, Kkl.1a, Ratta IP.2 Kkl.1a, and Renia IP.1 Kkl.1a.

Later we repeated the combination Quana-Ulk, with very good success. Tiger and Tess von Santamar were sold to Brazil, were Tiger some years later became Brazilian Champion. T´senna v. Santamar got his IP.3, Kkl.1a, Vorzüglich.

Quana´s third and last litter was with Torro v. Steigerhof SchH.3, Kkl.1a, Vorzüglich. Out of this combination we got one powerful bitch, Ursa v. Santamar IP.1, Kkl.1a, Vorzüglich. We were lucky to be able to use Ursa once for breeding, as she was sold as a puppy. Ursa was mated to the very good producer V-Auslese-dog Jango v. Fürstenberg, and here we got some good dogs. Zola v. Santamar IP.1, Kkl.1a, Vorzüglich and Zelma v. Santamar IP.1, Kkl.1a, Vorzüglich, were two good females. We kept Zelma, and she has got everything that a good breedingbitch needs. Her first children with Ghandi v.Arlett SchH.3, Kkl.1a, V-Auslese, look very promising.

The Line FELA VOM KAIBACH
The first litter under the kennelname "von Santamar"was born out of FELLA VOM KAIBACH SchH.1, Kkl.1a, Vorzüglich and the V-Auslesedog Apoll v. Laacher-Haus SchH.3, IP.3, VH, Kkl.1a. This litter brought us several good dogs, Santo, Sita, Sindy and Sambi. Sindy was sold to Spain as a youngster.

Sita was sold to Germany as a pup, and after a while from there to Tsjechie, were she later got the title of Siegerin. Sindy had SchH.1, Kkl.1a, Vorzüglich. ( No Photo yet )

Sambi made her IP.2, Kkl.1a at very young age, only 20 months. In the show ring she mostly made the first place ( to many to count…), and as the crown of her show carrier she became "Vlaamse Winster" in 1997. We decided that Sambi was the right bitch to carry on with from this blood line, and we were very right!! Sambi

For Sambi´s first litter we chose the Dutch dog Grimm v. Trasidius VH.3, Kkl.1a, Vorzüglich. Urko von Santamar was born out of this combination. Urko was a good dog in the show ring, and also a good workingdog. He got his SchH.3, IP.3, Kkl.1a and Vorzüglich very quickly and was eventually sold to the USA.

For the next litter of Sambi the choice was made to use the world famous Belgian dog Uri v. Amulree SchH.3, Kkl.1a, and three times Belgian Sieger with V-Auslese. Xissy and Xandra were born out of this combination. Both of them got IP.1, Kkl.1a, Vorzüglich.

The third an last litter of Sambi was a topper! The partner this time was the Dutch dog Vako v.d.Herderskring SchH.3, Kkl.1a, Vorzüglich. Yssi, Yade, Yari and Yaro were born out of these parents. Yssi got her IP.1 and was immediately after that sold to China, were she in the meanwhile has got a daughter who made the second place in the youth-class on the Chinese Siegershow. Yade got her IP.1, Kkl.1a and Vorzüglich aswell. Yari was still very young when he got his SchH.3,IP.3, Kkl.1a and Vorzüglich. He is not just a beautiful dog. He is also a very good workingdog.

Yade had also IP 1 and breed surveyed in 1 und excellent in shows.
Yaro had the same talents as his brother and he also got his SchH.3, IP.3, Kkl.1a and Vorzüglich when he was still very young. You can se him in action on working dog trials, tracking trials and other competitions as well as on dog shows, and he makes good results everywhere.

Out of XANDRA v. Santamar, Sambi´s daughter with Uri, we now have a 12 month old dog, Asco, who looks very promising for the future. The father of this dog is Germano v. Aducht SchH.3, Kkl.1a, Vorzüglich.

The Line EFTAS JAFFA
Jaffa´s first litter was with the V-Auslese dog Ursus v. d. Steinhägerquelle SchH.3, Kkl.1a. Most of the pups in this litter were sold abroad, unfortunately it seemed, because we were a little bit unlucky with the next two litters of Jaffa…

For Jaffa´s second litter we used the V-Auslese dog Pitt v.Tronje SchH.3, Kkl.1a. Two good females were born out of this combination: Velléda and Vaska. Vaska got IP.3, and Vorzüglich. Unfortunately neither of these females are doing any competitions or shows anymore. What a pity!
After having a last litter here in Belgium, Jaffa returned to her home country, Sweden. For this last litter we decided to use the Dutch dog Grimm v. Trasidius VH.3, Kkl.1a, Vorzüglich. This was a very good litter, but for many different resents none of these dogs got really active in the dog sport. We even try to bye two of them to take them to shows, but without success.

The Line REVA VAN HET BESOYENSELAND
For REVA´s first litter we chose for the Danish top dog Berthas Solo SchH.3, BHP.3, Kkl.1a, Vorzüglich. From this litter we had a very beautiful bitch, Sky. She won the puppy class at the "Vlaamse Winner" 1995. Unfortunately she had a bad accident and was not able to show after that. Sky was the only female in that litter, and most of her brothers were sold abroad as pups.

For REVA´s second litter we used the excellent producer and V-Auslese dog Natz v. Steigerhof SchH.3, Kkl.1a. It was bingo!!! Tim got SchH.3, Kkl.1a, Vorzüglich. He made the first place at shows several times. His brother Turbo got IP.1. He also won many shows. Another brother, Tyson, got SchH.3, Kkl.1a, Vorzüglich, and was a fantastic show dog. Later Tyson was sold to the USA. These three dogs more than once were placed 1:st, 2:nd and 3:rd at shows, and the funny thing was that sometimes Tim won and his brothers 2:nd and 3:rd, and the next time Tyson ended up first, or another time it was Turbo who won, Tyson second and Tim third. These three boys had a sister, Trini. She made the first place in the puppy class at the "Vlaamse Winner" in 1996. A few months later she died, poisoned of something she found in the woods…This was a disaster for us. She was not just the only female in this litter, but also the second Reva-daughter that we lost.
